Privacy Statement

You authorise FAI to at any time collect from any credit reporting agencies, credit providers, government agencies, and/or employer(s), accountant(s) or other persons (and authorise such person to provide to FAI) such information about you as is necessary for FAI to consider whether to grant you credit, for the purposes of administration and protection of any credit provided, to register any security interest, for debt recovery purposes, enforcement of any agreement between FAI and yourself and for the purposes of considering any future request from you for credit pursuant to any other agreement.

In assessing whether to grant you credit, FAI may collect information about you from credit reporting agencies. FAI may also use the services of credit reporting agencies on an ongoing basis for purposes relating to the provision of credit to you. The following will apply to FAI's use of the services of credit reporting agencies:

1. FAI will give information about you to credit reporting agencies and the credit reporting agencies will disclose information about you to FAI;
2. credit reporting agencies will hold information about you on their systems and use it to provide their credit reporting services;
3. when other customers of the relevant credit reporting agency use the credit reporting services, the credit reporting agency may give information about you to those customers; and
4. if you default in your payment obligations to FAI, information about that default may be given to credit reporting agencies and the credit reporting agencies may give information about that default to their other customers.

You agree that FAI and any of its related companies may use all personal information held about you now or in the future for any of the purposes referred to above and for the purpose of providing you with details of other products and services from time to time.

You understand that, if you do not wish to receive details of other products and services, you may advise FAI in writing accordingly.

You authorise FAI to disclose information about you to such related companies, credit reporting agencies and (if necessary) to any person assisting FAI in the administration and enforcement of any agreement between FAI and yourself.

You confirm that all the information you have provided to FAI is accurate, up to date, complete, relevant and not misleading.

You understand that you have rights under the Privacy Act 1993 to access and correct any personal information about you held by FAI.
